About the SCA Archive

The SCA Archive is a partnership initiative of the University of Sydney Library and Sydney College of the Arts, the visual arts faculty of the University of Sydney. SCA alumni and staff are leaders within the field of Australian contemporary visual arts, enjoying national and international reputations as artists, writers, curators, and academics.

The aim of the SCA Archive is to:

  • Preserve, and ensure ongoing access to, a permanent collection of scholarly research works of SCA staff, students, and alumni
  • Celebrate and promote the research profile of SCA within the University and the wider community

The University Library manages the SCA Archive and provides ongoing access to the works in the collection. Jacqui Spedding provided metadata and digital objects. Rowan Brownlee developed this site, using the eXtensible Text Framework (XTF) and Java Server Pages (JSP). Rebecca Goldsworthy created the homepage banner using images from the collection.
